Signs of Spring!!!!!!!!!!!
Where H is from.... :)
Happy Belated Birthday Teresa!!! Brunch with friends (i.e. waffles and ice cream... :)
On the tour of the NMU campus.
WMCAT took a group of 31 students up to Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI for an overnight trip. There were a couple bumps along the way but overall it was a great experience and great exposure for both the staff and students.
Rough day for the trailer....
Littering. Not cool people...but it can make for some interesting photos.
My current home....a place filled with friends and family.
Our lives....too many places to go, things to do...we should stop and enjoy the sun....
Sunday ice storm...
My friend Georgia and I decided to take advantage of the rather gloomy day and head out on a photo walk downtown Grand Rapids. There are a lot of abandoned buildings/factories which are always a blast to take photos of.
We also "discovered" the antique hotspot downtown. I'm not usually one that goes to antique shops to buy something but if I have my camera the shops transform into a place I could spend hours in. If antiques could talk...
WMCAT along with other faculty.

Learning my way around the apple...Isn't amazing how much symbolization this one little image of an apple can have?
In good company...
Yay for recycling!!!
Frozen in time..
Tonight was the Kentwood Art Show at WMCAT. While that show was wrapping up, Leanne and I headed over the the GRAM to see other artwork from different Grand Rapidian students ranging in age and grade from K-12. Seeing this gallery full of art and creativity lifts my spirits. We need to encourage youth to continue to develop these talents and gifts.

Another oops day. Really..I have to stop this....
Tonight was a bittersweet night. It was the final concert for the Bach Festival in Grand Rapids, and the choir I participated in, The Bach Chorale, performed selections of Telemann, Cimarosa, and of course, Bach. It was great singing in a choir saturated with talented musicians. Unfortunately the short season came and went all too quickly, but hopefully I will be blessed again sometime soon to be a part of another talented choir.
I have also been training for the Grand Rapids Triathlon. My training plan is staring at me every morning and night to remind me how much work I still have to do...
